Hello, we’re just back from hearing the gig of the year so far - Pantha Du Prince at the Brundell Social Club in Leeds . On a par with Fever Ray at the Manchester Academy last year. Particularly enjoyed the chap in the Jaws tshirt off his head dancing to the German electronica. Avant garde Germans lead us nicely on to Rundholz which has just arrived and BYYAT (okay BYYAT are Finnish but still pretty avant garde Yat himself used to design for Yojhi Yamammoto). Mawi has also arrived which looks as stunning as usual. I’m not sure if stunning can ever become usual but I think you know what I mean. Vivienne Westwood shoes have also arrived and loads more. ..
